  1. Membership Agreement:

    ***By signing up for membership, participating in classes, or using any of our facilities, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service.

Eligibility:

To join Dot Box CrossFit, you must be at least 18 years of age, or if under 18, have parental or guardian consent. You must also be in good physical health and free of medical conditions that would restrict your participation in CrossFit activities, unless you have written consent from a physician.

Payment:

Membership dues are due on due each month on the anniversary date of the membership initiation. Dues are paid by monthly automatic electronic payment (credit card, debit card, or checking account draft). Memberships are automatically renewed with the same terms at the end of the monthly membership period. Late fees may apply if payment is not received by the due date. Memberships may be canceled with written notice, subject to terms in the specific membership agreement. Memberships cannot be transferred or carried over to another month.

Past Due Memberships:

Memberships that are 15 days past due will be automatically cancelled.

Cancellation and Termination:

Members may cancel their membership by providing at least 30 days’ notice in writing before your next billing date. Upon cancellation, any unused classes or services are non-refundable. Payments already processed are non-refundable. Failure to provide timely notice will result in automatic renewal. DOT BOX reserves the right to terminate any membership for violation of gym policies or disruptive behavior.

Membership Hold Policy:

Members must provide a minimum of 2 weeks' notice to request a hold. Membership holds must be for more than 2 weeks and are limited to 2 holds per 12-month period.

Class Packages:

Class packages are available for purchase in a set number of sessions. Once purchased, all class packages are final and non-refundable. Members should carefully consider the number of classes they wish to purchase based on their anticipated usage. Class packages have expiration dates, which will be clearly communicated at the time of purchase. Expiration dates for class packages cannot be extended under any circumstances, including injury, illness, or personal scheduling conflicts.

Class Late Cancellation & No-Show Policy:

We understand that life can be unpredictable. However, to ensure fairness to all our clients and instructors, we have the following policy:

  • Late Cancellations: If you need to cancel a class, please do so at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled class time. Cancellations made within 1 hour of the class will incur a $5 late cancellation fee.

  • No-Shows: If you do not attend a class and do not notify us in advance, this will be considered a no-show and will also incur a $5 no-show fee.

This policy helps us manage class schedules effectively and maintain availability for all our clients.

2. Code of Conduct

Respect for Facilities and Equipment:

Members must respect all gym equipment and facilities. Damaging equipment, improper use, or failing to clean equipment after use may result in a penalty fee or termination of membership. Smoking is strictly prohibited in any part of the facility. Food or drink may be taken into workout areas if it is in a non-breakable, enclosed container.

Behavioral Expectations:

All members are expected to treat others with respect and courtesy. Discriminatory, abusive, or disruptive behavior is not tolerated. Members engaging in such behavior may have their membership suspended or terminated without refund.

Cleanliness and Hygiene:

Gym attire is required during workouts. No open toed shoes or sandals are allowed in the training area during class times. Members are required to maintain proper hygiene while using the gym. Please wipe down equipment after use, wear appropriate athletic wear, and bring a towel when working out.

3. Liability Waiver

By participating in any DOT BOX classes or activities, you waive any and all claims against DOT BOX, its employees, and agents for injuries or damages sustained while at the gym or during any related activity. This waiver extends to both personal injury and property damage.

4. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal Information:

We collect personal information (such as your name, email, phone number, and payment details) to provide services and manage your membership. We are committed to protecting your privacy and will not share your personal data without your consent, except as required by law.

Photos and Videos:

Occasionally, we may take photographs or videos during classes or events for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of such media. If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos, please notify us in writing.

5. Classes and Schedules

Class Reservations and Cancellations:

Members are encouraged to reserve spots for classes through our booking system. If you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation at least 1 hour in advance to avoid a late cancellation fee or penalty.

Class Modifications:

DOT BOX reserves the right to modify the class schedule, cancel classes, or change class times based on demand, instructor availability, or unforeseen circumstances. We will notify members in advance whenever possible.

6. Pricing and Fees

Price Changes:

We reserve the right to adjust membership fees or introduce new charges. Any price changes will be communicated to members in advance.

Additional Fees:

Certain services, such as personal training or specialty classes, may require additional fees beyond standard membership dues. These fees will be clearly outlined at the time of booking.

7. Intellectual Property

All content and materials related to DOT BOX, including logos, workout plans, class schedules, and other intellectual property, are owned by DOT BOX and protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any materials for commercial purposes without written consent.
